Viola Spriggs loves sharing her joys, hopes and memories in her writings about her family and the things she loves the most. Born in 1911, many things have changed in her 91 years, but she still remembers her family all coming together for a Sunday afternoon picnic. Tables and chairs were placed under a huge old shade tree; large bowls of food were carried from the kitchen; the family sat down, prayed, ate and then sang. Pop would get out his fiddle and insist they do his favorite tune, "Loves Old Sweet Song." From these wonderful memories of the past and present she draws her inspiration for her life and writings - giving God all the Glory.
